I've been hooked on cruises since I sailed on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas as a teenager. I loved the freedom it gave me, and to this day, I still recommend cruises for families traveling with teens. My teenage sons have a blast making friends in the teen club, playing on the sports court, enjoying their fill of mocktails, and learning new things on cultural excursions.

Cruises are also fantastic for solo travelers. I have recently rediscovered my passion for cruises as a remote worker. As a small business owner, it can feel nearly impossible to truly log off and take a vacation. Cruising allows me to still work when I need to, then enjoy great service, food, entertainment, and, of course, amazing excursions so I can feel rested and recharged without feeling too far behind on my work.

I love running into other solo cruisers, especially women who are reclaiming time for themselves and seeing the world at the same time.
